This morning, I heard a story on the radio about a man in Mali (I believe) who took about $600 from parents and told them that he was going to take their sons to Europe to get them signed with European soccer teams. Instead he took their sons to some remote area, where he held them captive for three months before they were discovered. This man did not hate these boys or their parents, he was indifferent to their humanity, their suffering and their fate. Indifference is indeed, evil.
