These words about tools and shapers and shapes activate more wondering which is fun for me. But maybe I agree and maybe I don't agree. Perhaps shaping isn't about first and next and so on. Maybe shaping encircles the shaper, the tools, and all shapes as one bigger picture. And maybe, paradoxically this statement is true and only half true at once. So the wonderous adventuring voyage sails on!

If dogs can learn to use tools to help turn lights off and on, open doors, etc... and chimps can learn and transmit sign language, why not raccoons picking up simple tool use?  It would be interesting to investigate.
