That's a little like reading the end of a book to see if it will be worth reading - which, in the end, spoils the story. Where's the anticipation? The excitement? The drama? Life is meant to be written as it unfolds, not lived as if the story has already...
Ahh, but then we are assuming that there will be a middle. It seems that that hidden assumption that there will always be more time to address things like joy and sharing, is what keeps many of us from doing it now.
