I do not quite know why this statement caught my eye: Maybe first seeking to excel in knowledge of 'what is excellent' helps bring amazing material successes...yet maybe this noteable lifetime of campaigning for material successes is what activated an even greater thirst for knowledge of what is excellent beyond material meansurements...yet either way and probably in other ways knowledge of excellence seems loosely linked to successes in life. For sure, any 'individual of destiny' - from an Alexander the Great to an unsung hero - can be re-energized and re-balanced by regular periods devoted to the contemplation of Beauty and Harmony, and frequent periods for recreation and laughter.
