What Isaac loves about this:
The West, with it's health and wealth prosperity gospel has a misconception that if we are not happy with where we are, completely satisfied with what we have, overflowing with prosperity and walking with a smile we must not be in God's good graces. This is a very strong verse in the Holy Sciprtures which attest to being hopeful in suffering. It's not always easy. The vines are pruned to be made fruitful. God chastens those whom He loves. This verse is a reminder to me that what we reap in tears we will sow in joy; that there are dark nights of the soul, and we must wait vigilantly for the Lord.
