GBS was wonderfully witty and insightful...What other authors speak to you and maybe for you?

BTW I used to joke about the only time I felt as if I could get intelligent conversation was when I spoke to myself. How very very wrong I was.

I have not yet found another author that would capture my thoughts better than GB Shaw, but that is quite surely be the case because I don't read that much. However I find myself giggling to Shaw-stuff whenever I find them, sarcastic as he is, there's always that ...
