What GOPAL loves about this:
I very strongly believe in the "Power-of-the-Flower," We offer flowers to cheer up those that are sick and hurting in hospitals and nursing homes. Since flowers are associated with happiness, we grow them outside and inside our homes. and use them in cut-flower arrangements to share and spread the cheer around. The diversity of their colors, shapes and sizes is astounding. As it is, the plant itself uses a great deal of its' energy to produce them for its' own perpetuation, and in the process some of that energy is stored inside, while the rest radiates out to those who seek it for their need(s) --- be it food, or beauty to admire -- as in case of a bee, a butterfly or a human. In most plants, it is via the flower that we get our seeds, grains and fruits for our nourishment. All sort of insects depend on them for food, too. I think we can call a flower a very "potent force." I sometimes, see God''s image in a beautiful flower.Spiritually-speaking, Hindus offer flowers to Gods and Godesses ( we have multiple choices & no gender discrimination in that aspect ) to show reverence, when visitng the temple to pray or at home.
