What Dakota22 loves about this:
I think it makes you appreciate all the aspects of life when this question is posed. Yes, I think most of us would consider ourselves young at heart, and our bodies want to be young but with age comes wisdom, and knowingness. So which is it? Young at heart or an old wise soul? Can we be both?

When I was young, I wanted to be older because I believed that wisdom comes with age.  As I got older, I made some bad mistakes, and I felt young and foolish.  Now that I'm middle aged, recovering from a recent mild heart-attack I feel even younger still, gi...

Sorry for being a smart-ass, but I feel like I was about... 2300 years old... I believe in reincarnation. I think my feeling of being ageless has to do with that, as I feel at the same time being a 2-year old and an 80-year old, and everything in between.

This might be a dumb answer but I think that a person would be the same age regardless of whether or not they knew when they were born.  I think that a person would need to know their age just for administrative purposes.  I guess if I did not know, I would ask ...

I remember a day when I was 26 years old -- I was out at Lake Travis in Austin, TX with friends.  The sun was shining and the water was glimmering and I was surrounded by good friends and the sounds were a blend of light conversation and music from the radio and laug...

Now you took me back to when I was 27. I went to Florida to visit my best friend. I told him I never saw the sunset. He drove me to a small private beach right as the sun was going down. I hopped out of the car and climbed up on the hood. I remember leaning back on my elb...

I believe it all depends on your state of mind. There are people in their 70's and 80's who are younger than I am at 37. My children are what keep me young. I'm so thankful I have a 16 year old and a 5 year old. I can be whichever age I choose.

Well, no one ever sent me my offical grown ups card.  So I fake it.  I am, that's all.  Age is irrelevant.

Absolutely. I feel mature in the sense that I can see how I have learned and gained wisdom since my teens. At the same time though, do I feel like a grown up? I have yet to find anyone who does. When we are younger, we have perceptions of what a certain age will feel like...

Ditto, just don't let on that I didn't get mine.  I am daring to be a parent, and help take care of my friend's kids too on occasion.  I know that I am the one who cleans the grungy stuff out of the sink drain.  So I can say that I am the acting...
