What Ari-ah loves about this:
My marriage was over many years ago, but I stayed for the children. Now it's time to find what I need but he wont let me go. He's using all kinds of manipulations and abuse. Should I stay or should I go. Is there a lesson to be learnt during the abuse or after?

If he is abusing you in any way then go. You and he both deserve better. And so do your children. A very wise woman once told me that Sure, children deserve happy, well-adjusted parents, and if that means being apart than that's what it means.
