Not everyone enjoys the same type of loving attention. Some people love to be touched (some people don't), some love to hear words of comfort. Different people respond best to different forms of love and compassion, you can't treat everyone the same! I think we have to keep in mind that the ways we give and receive love can be very unique. We have to learn who someone is before we can learn how to truly love them in their own special way

I think you can only love someone else in the way that you love them.  :)  It is a feeling that is not easy to edit.  The way you express it may change to their or your tastes, but love just is.

How about just simply loving and forgiving. And having empathy. Whether you think "they need it or how they need it"

Love is many thing to many people. Its never right nor is it wrong.
