This week I found myself in an odd conversation about race in America. I realized that one reason this conversation was so inappropriate for me, was that the other was dualistic in his viewpoint. His 'side' was that racism should not be a factor, that he saw the world as equal to the exclusion of the possibility of the world as unequal. And while I can easily see both sides, it's not necessary. In a non-dualistic world, for me their is both racism and equality and neither of which are real. What does non-dualism look like to you?
