I have no doubt God has a sense of humor. If we are truly made in his image, then I would think we share similar traits.

Creation is part of the creator, so in that sense God is the beginning and end of every joke and smile and giggle. Now when it comes to religion, I am afraid we can blame only humans for that. We have taken a step further.. in which direction, huh?

God the Son? He was also 100% man, there is no reason why He wouldn't have a sense of humor. I would imagine that the Christ surely laughed on earth. God the Father? That is unknowable, and I won't presume to understand His Nature.
