What ligibit loves about this:
I am curious about the connection between mind and body. Sometimes I withdraw from my body and live mostly in my mind. Lately I am alert to the sensation of feeling myself grow stronger. In general I find the latter state to be the happier one. Perhaps the former state is the reverse of what Amiel proposes: sadness leading to a decline in health.

I can honestly say that in my own experiences-When I'm down, everything about me is down. When I'm happy everything about me is better. I have little physical strength in general but when I'm either joyous or very angry I can put down a mon 2x my size.
