Those of us who believe in God, pray to Him. Some of us pray in church, in smaller groups, in quiet places, and whenever we think we're in trouble. I continuously hear that all God wants is for us to just talk to Him. How wonderful would that be?

'If I could' provokes even deeper thoughts for me. Would I have the strength or courage to utter a word to He Who spoke all into existence? If, given the grace to stand before God, I would ask Him: How long will Your patience endure?

I would say that you have had more reason than most to reach out to God.  Katrina taught us how little strength we really have.  It's OK, if we don't have it, He does.
