I'm Lauren. I am co-founder of Wisdomology with James. We live in North Carolina with our four kids, our loveably neurotic dog and our inexplicably crazy cat.

My goal in life is to become more open minded and courageous as I grow older. I am fortunate in that every day life presents opportunities to practice at these qualities.

James is my best friend and the world's most patient listener. I can always count on him for his honest and thoughtful reflection: to affirm my best instincts and to challenge me when my thinking goes astray. He also makes me laugh alot. Our long discussions about what matters in our lives were the creative catalyst for Wisdomology. I thank and honor all of you who contribute with heart and soul and make this site what it is: a place where meaningful discussions grow and blossom.
