Married, working professional with teenagers looking for friends, companionship and and conversation. Just finished working 3 years of overnight shifts... boy does that ever shrink one's social circle! Kids have gotten older and a lot more independent (not sure when that happened). I find that I have a lot more spare time on my hands than I used to.

Just hit the big 50 and celebrated by getting a beautiful tattoo (I had been toying with the idea for years). I have had a great life so far and value every single experience (good and bad) for contributing to the "cool chick" I am.

I am a deeply spiritual individual and value others who are exploring their truth and their relationship to the bigger picture. Although I still value all the basic tenants of my original faith, I didn't feel quite at home. Have found through the study of metaphysics and practical mysticism a persepctive that suits me well. Favorite authors in this subject area include Ernest Holmes, Ralph Waldo Emmerson, Deepak Chopra, Eric Butterworth, Joseph Campbell and many others.
