I am slowly coming back from a very challenging period in my life. I had lost my job, my home and the love of my life all on the same day. Being homeless was always my greatest fear but I was lucky to have great friends to help me through that experience. After a nine month period of 'pugatory' I realized that the universe doesn't know what you want unless you ask for it. While alone, I would talk to whoever was listening and things started to turn around for me. I am not entirely self-sufficient yet but each day is a step closer. I have made it this far with my ever present humor and my art. Making people laugh helps my spirit and painting renews my soul and I feel that both does something for the other person as well. I love creativity in any form. My passion is art deco although I love all art. Classical music inspires me and irreverant humor makes me laugh and feel alive. I love traveling (esp. Paris) and lecturing. Sometimes they happen at the same time. I firmly believe that God's greatest creation was chocolate and I love to find out how chocolate is in the different places I go. I am a Virgo and thus a perfectionist. I do not fear death but look upon it as another great adventure. I may not have the fame or wealth that I dreamt of when I was younger and I have learned that that is immaterial. I'm in a place now where I find myself passing along what I've learned to younger people and that is such a reward in and of itself. My goal now is to find a permanent inner contentment and to put the last of my demons to an everlasting sleep.
