I'm ready to share my wisdom! I am a 33 year old African American woman, who loves her cocker spaniel ONYX, I have no children of my own, but I do have two foster teenagers, who keep me pretty busy, one is 15 & the other 17....WOOOO!! I love giving back, and I was never healthy enough in the past to do so, but GOD has blessed me to have no signs of Crohn's Disease in two years, so I have been able to do what I always wanted to. I am where I feel I need to be in my life, and now I understand why I had to go through the PAIN, DISCOMFORT, 4 SURGERIES, COUNTLESS NEEDLE STICKS, FEVERS, INFECTIONS.....it was for me to APPRECIATE what I have in my life now!! I thank GOD for EVERYTHING I have been through..for, it has made me a STRONGER person. I believe a person with great character, is someone who is dealt a HELL of a hand, but yet plays it till the end, with a smile on his or her face. I do not believe in woe is me, although at first I did...I learned that there is a reason for every season, and that I was chosen to have Crohn's, and GOD knew that I was STRONG enough to deal with it....."he never gives you more than you can handle"....
