My goal in life is to be the change I wish to see in the world.

I awake each day with the solitary wish to make a difference, to create and inspire.

I am an attuned reiki practitioner which I try to infuse in my everyday life!

By trade I am a music teacher at an elementary school. I can hardly believe that I get paid to play instruments all day long! I am always amazed at the profound difference that the arts and education can have on a child's life. The arts can truly get you through the tough times and help you express the innate joy in your soul! Anyone can make music just by banging on a drum!

I have also had a transformational year with the completion of my yoga teacher training! I feel so blessed and I hope to one day in the near future start teaching yoga classes to kids, teens and adults. I am dreaming and scheming of opening a wellness center near where I live, so I can create a community of healing and creative outlets offering yoga, music, and art classes as well as massages, reiki and other healing modalities.

Currently, I will be teaching an 8 day workshop on “Sacred Geometry: The History and Practice of Creating Mandalas”. This is a course that I created and will be teaching to Upward Bound students (disadvantage high schoolers) at my local SUNY College. It is a very rewarding experience to teach for Upward Bound and I feel honored to be able to teach here.

I am here to network and meet anyone who is interested in sharing their story and sharing advice on how I may make my dreams come true in opening a yoga studio/wellness center.
